April Netflix and Amazon Prime Picks

Wednesday 24 April 2019

With a long Easter weekend in, this month, I've been able to get some serious Netflix/ Amazon prime time in. If you follow me on Twitter, you'll know some of my more recent watches (so of course, they will be mentioned..). As usual, I'll share  my recent watches and my thoughts on them without giving any spoilers...

As I've just moved.. I'm also currently watching on a less than ideal screen. I bought it off my sister for £25, so I should've known it wasn't going to be an amazing TV like the 4K HDR TV Panasonic. Some of those TV's look insane!

Grey's Anatomy (Amazon Prime)

If you'e seen my Twitter recently, you'll know that I have FINALLY started on Grey's Anatomy.  WHY DID I LEAVE IT SO LONG!? I'm obsessed. Already onto Season 7 and loving every episode. If you haven't watched it, you need to. You also need to get the tissues ready. It is an EMOTIONAL rollercoaster.

Riverdale (Netflix)

So, of course. Riverdale. It's made this month's watch list because I've really enjoyed the eps this month! I wasn't a big fan of the whole Gargoyle King story arc/ fizzlerocks debacle so it's been nice to see a slight departure from this. Definitely worth a watch from the start! Luke Perry, who played Archie's Dad, also has his final Riverdale episode shown this month (tomorrow to be exact) which will be super sad. RIP Luke Perry.

Instant Hotel (Netflix)

I wasn't sure what to expect when I first put this on. However, Australian's do make some good TV. I was pleasantly surprised and I'd never heard of an 'Instant Hotel' before... before swiftly realising it was kind of like an Air B'n'B. Essentially, the programme follows a group of people who own Instant Hotels and they rate their stay on a number of factors, the winner gets an all expenses paid trip. There are some fantastic characters in both groups, however, my absolute favourites were Babe and Bondi.. right up my street!

Just Go With It (Amazon Prime and Netflix)

An oldie but goodie. I've booked to go away in June so watching this proper got me in the mood for holiday. Sun, sand and laughs... yes please! Plus Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston (I first wrote Rachel... been watching too many friends re-runs.. oooooops) make a classic combo.

Have you watched any of these? What did you think? What are your top Netflix picks?

XOXO Molly
